In the subject of Metallurgy, the difference between "Stress" and "Strain" is such that when a force is applied, which alters a piece of metal's shape, that piece is being only stressed if it can return to its original shape after the force involved has been removed. Now after a force is applied to that same piece of metal to an extent which distorts the shape of it and that metal remains distorted even after the force that altered its shape has been removed, it is said to have been strained. The analogy here is that stress can reduce a body's mineral content due to added exertion, because that increases its perspiration, which if left uncompensated for leads to electro-dystrophy (trying to work a body without enough bioelectric power in it), which reduces that body's operator's (the victim's) ability to most optimally control it to keep it strong and well, in effect straining it.

This SUICIDE acronym's wordings cut two ways. In them stress is said to be a contributing cause of electro-dystrophy (trying to work a body without enough bioelectric power in it). Then, because a person loses their bio-electric power, they lose what they need to actuate and control the activities of their body that keep it functioning well and thus their self strong. What they lose is their body's energy/matter linkage (electricity). Their body's cells individually break down easier. This leads to a strained (no return to normal) condition, which reduces their will to live, which can even turn into a will to stop living and die and remain so. Even when a stressor [E.G. PTSD (Post Trauma Stress Disorder)] has been removed, the victim's functional capacity won't return to normal if they don't replace their lost minerals. One large reason that a soldier who has returned home from a war zone who isn't otherwise incapacitated doesn't regain control of their new situation in life is because they haven't yet successfully replaced the minerals that they sweated out dealing with the agreed upon enemy.

An integral step of fortifying a person against the unwanted results of stress and strain, an extreme of which can even be suicide then is to replenish their mineral complement, their body's JUICE. This activity can be accomplished via the use of the MHO (SOMA), or other MNMS treatments.
